In October 2025, the partner universities of the Erasmus+ DigiFLEd project joined the celebration of ErasmusDays 2025, presenting their achievements, best practices, and shared inspiration that unite the academic community around the idea of digital transformation in education.

Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (Mykolaiv)
On 17 October, the Department of German Philology organised a round table “Erasmus+ Days at NUS: Years of Synergy – Results and Perspectives”.
The event brought together teachers, students, and representatives of the academic community.
Head of Department Dr. Tetiana Myronenko, PhD in Education, outlined the key milestones of the university’s participation in the Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, and Erasmus+ programmes, which have become a strong foundation for international cooperation, staff and student mobility, and the development of innovative educational programmes.
Associate Professor Lesia Dobrovolska presented the outcomes of the Erasmus+ DigiFLEd project, highlighting the creation of new courses, the integration of digital technologies into foreign language teaching, and the launch of virtual centres for professional development.
Lidiia Aizikova also spoke about the wide range of opportunities offered by Erasmus+ for students – from short-term exchanges to intercultural experiences that contribute to both professional and personal growth.

Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University (Vinnytsia)
On 14 October, the DonNU team held a hybrid round table “Digitalisation of Philological Education”, which brought together students, lecturers, librarians, and representatives of the educational community.
Participants learned about the importance of ErasmusDays, explored European documents on digital education, discussed grant opportunities for philologists, and engaged with the DigiFLEd project case study illustrating how digital technologies are transforming approaches to foreign language learning.
The event concluded with an interactive quiz “Erasmus Around the World”, which vividly demonstrated how learning, teamwork, and creativity can merge in an atmosphere of collaboration and inspiration.

Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University (Zhytomyr)
On 13 October, Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University hosted an event as part of the global ErasmusDays 2025.
The celebration brought together students, young researchers, and educators who shared their experiences in the Erasmus+ Programme, their success stories, sources of inspiration, and visions for the future of Ukrainian education in the European context.
Participants discussed the importance of international academic cooperation, educational modernisation, and the role of resilience and social cohesion in Ukraine’s development through shared European values – freedom, dignity, and solidarity.
The event became part of the worldwide ErasmusDays2025 celebration that unites educators and students across the globe in promoting the idea of a Europe without borders in learning, science, and culture.

Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (Dnipro)
On 13 October, the Department of English for Non-Philological Specialties joined the ErasmusDays 2025 celebrations by hosting an online presentation “Erasmus+ as a Progressive Development Trajectory: Personal Experience and Perspectives”.
Associate Professor Olena Besarab shared her experience of participating in Erasmus+ projects and presented the results of the DigiFLEd initiative, emphasising the importance of digital innovation in foreign language education.
The event served as an excellent opportunity to summarise a productive year of international collaboration contributing to the modernisation of language education and the promotion of European values.

DigiFLEd Online Marathon (22 October 2025)
The celebration concluded with an online marathon, where DigiFLEd partner universities from across Ukraine presented their results, innovative courses, and newly established Virtual Language & Digital Competence Centres.
Participants discussed modern approaches to integrating digital technologies into language education, while students shared their experiences of involvement in the project – noting how it helped them develop initiative, teamwork, and professional competence.

ErasmusDays 2025 within the DigiFLEd project became a symbol of synergy among universities united by a shared mission – to make Ukrainian education modern, innovative, and competitive.
These events once again proved that international cooperation is a space for growth, professional development, and inspiration.
