by DigiFLEd | Dec 29, 2025 | News | 0 comments

A series of training sessions for teachers entitled ‘Digital Methods in Language Teaching’ is being launched. The training programme is aimed at developing and strengthening the digital competences of language teachers and at introducing innovative approaches to modern language education.

The training constitutes a three-wave professional development programme that combines practical ICT tools, contemporary teaching methodologies, inclusive learning strategies, and up-to-date assessment approaches. Particular attention is given to creating an interactive and accessible learning environment for diverse groups of learners.

Training Schedule:

  • Wave 1: 5–16 January 2026
  • Wave 2: 23 March – 3 April 2026
  • Wave 3: 1–12 June 2026

Focus of Wave 1:

The first wave of training focuses on digital tools for interactive learning, with an emphasis on teaching phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, and spelling, as well as on effective practices for the inclusion of learners with special educational needs (SEN).

The launch of this professional development programme represents an important step towards achieving the objectives of the DigiFLEd project, contributing to the modernisation of language education, the enhancement of teaching quality, and the professional growth of language teachers.
