How can foreign language proficiency and digital skills be transformed into real career opportunities? This question was at the heart of the Virtual Job Fair “DigiFLEd Synergy: Connecting Education, Business and Society,” held on 9 September 2026.
The event was organised by the DigiFLEd team at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University. The Job Fair brought together students and representatives from various professional sectors, creating a platform for direct dialogue about today’s labour market.

Participants explored the career opportunities available to professionals with foreign language proficiency and digital skills. Promising areas included the IT sector, technical communication and customer support, software localisation, EdTech, and the development of educational materials. Representatives of the banking sector, educational centres, Ukrainian lyceums and secondary schools shared their perspectives and professional experience.

For students, the event provided a valuable opportunity to communicate directly with potential employers, learn more about current labour market expectations, and gain a clearer understanding of the language, communication and digital skills that can open up new career opportunities.
The Virtual Job Fair created new opportunities for meaningful dialogue between students and representatives of today’s labour market.
