The first training sessions within the DigiFLEd project have been successfully completed!

Two significant educational events for foreign language teachers have taken place, serving as key steps in enhancing professional qualifications and implementing innovative teaching methods in the educational process.

Training 3.2 Moodle Online Course Design Essentials
This training enabled participants to deepen their knowledge of creating effective online courses on the Moodle platform. The training covered the following key aspects:

  • Structure
  • Orientation
  • Communication
  • Practice
  • Course page peer feedback
  • Sharing practice
  • Additional sharing practice

Training 4.1 Gamification and Engagement in FL Teaching
The second training focused on using gamification elements to increase higher education students’ engagement in learning foreign languages. Teachers explored the following topics:

  • Gamification Essentials
  • Quizzes
  • Scenario-based learning
  • Gamification tools – Extra
  • Critical Friends
  • Sharing Practices

The participants of these training sessions gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that they are ready to apply in their teaching. The outcomes of these trainings will facilitate the creation of more engaging, interactive, and effective online courses, positively influencing student motivation and the overall quality of the educational process.

The DigiFLEd team continues to move forward and does not stop at what has been achieved. The project participants plan to actively apply their newly acquired knowledge, create innovative courses, and share their experiences with colleagues. Even more exciting events and knowledge await ahead!
