This summer the DigiFLEd team did not stop – we shared experiences, presented results, and paved new paths for the digital transformation of language education.
On 19–20 June 2025, at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, the International Scientific Conference was held, where the DigiFLEd team presented the interim results of the project.
Nataliia Striuk and Olha Odintsova spoke about the role of the digital platforms Journal Finder and Global Journal Database in advancing open science and facilitating access to academic resources.

Iryna Zapukhliak and Olesia Boivan focused on how the integration of digital platforms into English language teaching motivates learners, develops their communicative competence, and fosters intercultural awareness. Challenges were also discussed: from the risk of off-task use of technologies to the need for comprehensive methodological support.
On 24 June 2025 project participants Iryna Harbera and Yuliia Bevz presented DigiFLEd’s experience at the Olomouc International Slavonic Seminar (Palacký University, Olomouc, Czech Republic). Their report ‘Innovative Methods of Teaching Modern Applied Linguistics’ highlighted how participation in the project contributes to the modernisation of bachelor’s and master’s programmes. Particular emphasis was made on the use of digital applications in teaching humanities, modern translation technologies, and online tools for mastering foreign languages.

And on 5 August 2025, DigiFLEd organised a professional workshop at the Faculty of Foreign and Slavic Philology, Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University. Teachers practiced working with the interactive platforms Miro and MindMeister creating learning scenarios, modelling online activities, and testing new approaches to teaching. The event was moderated by Olha Odintsova, who showcased practical cases of using these tools in teaching master’s students.
The DigiFLEd team continues to move forward, combining innovation, science, and international partnership to bring meaningful change to language education!
